Customer Rating: Summary: Not a good choice on the Kindle Comment: First, my issue with this book is not with the content but with the way it was published for the Kindle.
The images of the actual comics do not support the Kindle zoom function and are too small to read. This is a critical oversight on the part of the publisher.
Until this issue is corrected by the publisher, buy this book in print, but do not purchase the Kindle version.
Customer Rating: Summary: I love OPUS!! Comment: This is one of the better Opus collections. I love the others ones I've owned in the past and this one is the start of my new collection.
Customer Rating: Summary: Opus: 25 Years Comment: Great compilation of Bloom County's characters, that follows the storyline of Opus thru it's journey to find his mother.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great collection Comment: A fantastic look at the origins and future of one of my favorite comic strip characters, Opus the Penguin. Sometimes nostalgic, sometimes poignant, sometimes a little politically charged, always funny, this is some of Berkeley Breathed's best Opus strips.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sundays haven't been the same since.... Comment: ....Opus left us. What loveable charachters lived in Bloom County! And I miss them every day. Not only did Berkeley Breathed touch on some timely topics, but his sharp political humor is definately lacking in todays comics. This is a great collection; and it helps to fill the void since we last saw Opus, Binkley, Steve Dallas, Bill the Cat and the rest of the residents of Bloom County.
Come back, Opus...come back!

Editorial Reviews:

Finally in paperback: the celebrated book in which one of America+s most beloved comic geniuses serves up a 25th-anniversary compendium of the best of Opus, everyone+s favorite maladjusted penguin. Both for die-hard fans and for those only now just discovering the matchless humor of Berkeley Breathed, OPUS is a treat.
