U.S. and Canadian Indian Tribes will gather in Denver, Colorado for a two day conference on new technologies and best practices in unconventional natural gas development.

Methane and the Future of Fossil Fuel Resources in Indian Country" on January
20-21, 2005 in Denver, Colorado.
The invitation only event, held at the
Denver office of Holme Roberts and Owen, LLP, will include educational sessions
to increase the level of understanding of the fossil fuel development process as
it applies to Indian lands. Invitations have been extended to Indian Tribes in
the Western States and Canada.
Topics for the symposium will cover new
technologies and best practices in unconventional natural gas development
including drilling and completion methodologies, water handling technologies,
and reservoir assessment tools. Legal and financing issues will also be
addressed. Speakers include experts in the industry as well as representatives
from the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
