ATP Begins Productions of Lead-Free “Green” Memory Products - Environmentally-Friendly RoHS Compliant Flash Memory Cards and DRAM Modules

All ATP flash memory cards (SD, MMC, miniSD, RS-MMC) are fully RoHS compliant and are shipping immediately, with DRAM modules to achieve full compliance by end of 2005. SGS GROUP, a world-renowned testing and certification organization, performed ATP RoHS compliance tests.
Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) April 11, 2005 -- RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous
Substances) is European Union's (EU) directive (2002/95/EC), or “Green”
specification. As of July 1, 2006, the RoHS directive will require the removal
of six hazardous substances, including lead, from all electronic products
shipped into the EU. A product is considered to be RoHS compliant if the maximum
concentration value is up to 0.1% by weight in homogeneous materials for lead,
mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE, and is up to 0.01% by weight in
homogeneous materials for cadmium.

well in advance of the July 2006 deadline set by EU, ATP shows the commitment to
